This
past Saturday was truly amazing. Marvin and Paula seemed in good spirits and it
was nice to see them not have to be bundled up. Whiskey found his birth
certificate and was also in good spirits. He kept shaking our hands and
smiling. On the way to feed our Mexican brothers, Rick stopped by some brothers
that are always flying on the same corner. Rick told them that he would bring
them some jeans. The men lined up. Rick loaded each of them down with jeans and
shirts. The men were so thankful and left the van with big smiles on their
face. Our Mexican brothers were many this morning and Dan handed every one of
them a couple of burrito’s. We don’t speak the same language, but it is so
amazing how LOVE can be spoken without words! As we made our way down by Kemper
Arena we ran across Robert. If you remember, Robert was the brother who had to
Tinkle. Robert told us that he is tired of being the way he is. He asked us
what he is suppose to do. We talked to him for awhile and then I felt lead to
lay hands on this brother. I told him that he needs to say no to the bottle and
yes to Jesus. I spoke to this brother and rebuked the enemy in Jesus name for
holding this brother in bondage. Robert started to cry. I asked him if we could
pray over him, he said yes. Rick, Dan and myself wrapped our arms around this
brother and prayed over him. It’s so important that we examine ourselves and
keep our focus on Jesus. Who is he in your life?
I would like to end this letter with a question to you. “Are you living in
Christ’s death or his resurrection?” In his death, the disciples scattered and
hid. After his resurrection, the disciples shared Christ, even to their own
demise. Thank you for your support and prayers. God bless you and your family.

Our Not For Profit number is coming right along. This is what Nigh wrote to me,
“Now
we're waiting on the feds to agree you're a not for profit, then the state will
issue the exempt letters to give to everyone that you get supplies from.
The fed letter agreeing to the N-F-P status is the one that lets people give
money and other donations to HOPE and write them of as a charitable donation.
It's moving along.”
